300 Hour Course Overview
The school was founded by a yogi who spent his life in the lanes of Rishikesh among fellow yogis and practitioners, and has himself been a dedicated practitioner throughout his life. His years of learning and experience form the foundation of the teacher training at Yoga Gau, striking a beautiful balance between traditional wisdom and the practical needs of modern teaching and lifestyle.
This beginner-friendly course offers 29 days to immerse yourself in the art of yoga to balance your mind, body, and soul. Yoga Gau is one of the leading schools for 100, 200, and 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh and provides an extensive and enriching curriculum.
During this 3 to 4-week training, you will practice Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga Asanas, study biomechanics and human anatomy, dive deep into traditional yogic breathing (Pranayama) and cleansing techniques (Shatkarma), read the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita, chant & understand mantras, know different meditation types, and experience Yoga Nidra. The program also includes training in asana adjustment and alignment—both practically and theoretically—to prepare you to teach confidently.
To become a certified yoga instructor, you must complete a 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training course. This program is designed to help you complete the required hours and gain certification in one stretch. After the completion of the course you will be eligible to teach yoga. 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training course in Rishikesh
It changed my life! 30+ years on Earth, and after completing this 29-day course, I felt truly transformed. I came to get my 300 Hour Yoga Certification but left with a new healthy routine and a more balanced headspace. I loved the school atmosphere, location, and teachers—especially Yogi Bipin Ji and Nitin Ji. Their practical knowledge and real-world examples made the overall learning experience more grounded in reality. I would recommend this school if you are looking to get your teacher training while balancing traditional yoga philosophies with modern world requirements. It is perfect.
Namaste! I just completed my 300 Hour Yoga Training at Yoga Gau, Rishikesh, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for YTT in Rishikesh. The training is extensive, the environment peaceful, and the teachers are knowledgeable and always helpful. The sattvic food is simple and tasty, the rooms are clean, and the overall yoga infrastructure is excellent. I highly recommend this school. Special thanks to Dr. Sangeeth Sukumarapillai for the Ayurveda therapy and for sharing such valuable knowledge about the body. I feel healthier and more in sync with my body’s needs after this experience.
I had a wonderful experience here. The staff was responsible and incredibly kind. The curriculum was rich and taught in a way that made me genuinely excited to learn—something I hadn’t felt in years. I initially came with the aim of deepening my yoga practice, but this course has built so much confidence in me that I’m considering starting taking classes for my nearest and dearest. Yoga is a powerful practice, and after years practicing through YouTube, it was heartwarming to finally immerse in yogic lifestyle. Hopefully, I’ll be back at Yoga Gau soon to take the 300 Hour Yoga Training.
I came to India feeling very stressed and full of anxiety. Someone suggested I take a yoga course. I was a complete beginner—with barely any knowledge of what asanas even were. After a little research online, I found this 300 Hour YTT course. It was also budget-friendly, so I booked it with the hope of transformation. And thank God I did. The course follows a extensive routine but is led with compassion, guiding you through various forms of yoga, meditation, and yogic literature. I left with a heart full of memories and a mind free from stress and anxiety.
I had been practicing yoga for years and wanted to enroll in a course to begin teaching. Two days into the center, I realized that despite all those years, I wasn’t holding postures correctly—or even fully aware of what the right posture was and how to align my body & mind. Thanks to Rahul Ji’s consistent guidance on Adjustment & Alignment, I gained much more confidence in my practice and teaching potential. good food, a peaceful location, kind teachers, and in-depth training. These three weeks were some of the best I’ve spent in India. I highly recommend this yoga school to anyone looking for personalized attention and practice-driven training with full support to help you become a real-world-ready yoga teacher.
